Nigel Sharp
Executive Chairperson
Nigel has founded multiple successful enterprises notably Dragonfly and Tiverton-Rothwell Regen Ag Fund. To date he has been the driving force behind Dragonfly.
With a 30 year background as a qualified valuer, and experience running a listed company Trust, Nigel has worked in senior positions across the property funds management and property development industries, including both rural and urban property projects.
Originally from a farm outside of Geelong in Victoria, Nigel also has a long history in agriculture and biodiversity conservation, venture investing, that has seen him become a leading figure in the Australian impact investment industry.

Matthew Kelly
Chief Executive Officer
An executive leader with more 20+ years’ experience across Australia and the UK, Matt is a qualified accountant and MBA graduate specialising in strategy, growth and operational performance. His career spans senior finance, operations and executive consulting roles, where he has driven performance optimisation, scalable expansion and disciplined capital allocation across diverse sectors.
Matt joined Dragonfly in 2022 as Investment Manager, leading portfolio development, transaction execution and strategic growth initiatives. Raised in rural New South Wales, Matt developed a deep connection to nature, a foundation that underpins his commitment to building a more resilient future for the next generation.
Matt works closely with our portfolio companies to strengthen commercial performance while advancing measurable environmental outcomes.

Steph Swann
Non-Executive Director
Steph brings over a decade of global experience in finance, strategy, and transformation, having held senior leadership roles with PwC, Deloitte, WeWork, and The Siegfried Group across Australia and the United States. A Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Management from RMIT University, Steph combines deep financial expertise with strategic vision.
As both a conservation leader and seasoned finance professional, Steph brings valuable perspective to Dragonfly’s board. Her leadership and commitment to biodiversity and environmental solutions will play an important role in strengthening our governance and guiding our continued impact.

Giles Gunesekera OAM
Non-Executive Director
Giles is a highly regarded business leader with over 30 years of experience in financial services, impact investing, and governance. Recognized globally for his expertise in ESG, sustainability, and impact investment, he has advised regulators and central banks across the Asia-Pacific and contributed to the United Nations on health, climate, and sustainable finance.
He is the Founder & CEO of Global Impact Initiative and serves on multiple boards, including Chair of the ESG Council at Alexander Funds, as well as key advisory roles with the United Nations Global Compact and The Sunrise Project. Previously, he was also a Non-Executive Director at Magnis Energy Technologies.
His contributions have earned him an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in 2023 and a Fellowship from Monash University for distinguished service to business and the community. -

Cathy Bonanno
Finance Manager
Cathy brings over a decade of experience in finance management. Specialising in service-based environmentally focused industries, Cathy combines technical accounting expertise with a strategic approach to financial integrity. As a qualified accountant and registered BAS Agent, Cathy is adept at working across diverse software systems and is particularly skilled in “rescue” finance—identifying and resolving complex accounting issues to ensure accuracy and reliability in financial reporting. She establishes robust internal controls that not only maintain financial integrity but also support effective decision-making, enabling Dragonfly and its portfolio companies to operate seamlessly.

Chris Wade
Senior Adviser
Chris Wade has over 20 years principal investment experience in a range of sectors including infrastructure, property, clean energy and broader decarbonisation strategies.
He has held CEO and senior management roles with two of Australia’s largest Government supported impact funds, being the Clean Energy Financing Corporation (“CEFC”) and the Northern Australian Infrastructure Facility (“NAIF”). Prior to these roles, Chris held Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager roles with institutional fund managers including Deutsche Bank, AMP Capital and Hastings Funds Management.
Chris also has extensive experience as an Investment Committee and Non-Executive Director across the infrastructure, property , clean energy and superannuation sectors.
Chris currently acts as senior adviser and Non-Executive Director to a number of Australian and Global ESG focused businesses and funds.

Silva Seferian Jacotine
General Counsel
Silva is a legal professional with over 25 years of expertise as a corporate, commercial, and investment funds lawyer, gained in leading financial services businesses and private practice in Australia and the Cayman Islands.
She is a trusted advisor to boards and senior executives on legal, risk, compliance and company secretarial matters, bringing a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to Dragonfly Enviro Capital. She is known for her astute commercial judgment, pragmatic problem-solving and a passion for entrepreneurship.
Silva holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia (now Kaplan), a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Finance) and a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from the University of Technology Sydney. She has been repeatedly recognised for her expertise as one of the world’s leading private funds formation and regulatory lawyers by Who’s Who Legal: Private Funds.

Meg Wright
Marketing Manager
Meg has a decade of experience ranging from Social Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Development, Impact Measurement, Facilitation, speaking and hosting Social Innovation conferences.
During her years of experience, Meg has co-founded a purpose-driven marketing and development consultancy with a specific focus on impact measurement, developed multiple impact tech startups, founded an Association, hosted conferences, and contributes as a Growth Grant Panel Member with Impact Investing Australia. Meg has narrowed her focus to impact investment as she sees this sector as a key to the transformation of entire industries.
Meg heads our marketing, community impact and event coordination, as well as supporting our portfolio brands with the development and execution of marketing strategies.

Luke Jose
Investment Advisory Panel Member
Luke brings a wealth of experience across entrepreneurship, corporate advisory, and private investment, which he will apply to supporting Dragonfly’s investment decisions and to the development of our portfolio companies.
Luke is a Director at Octal Capital, a family office, where he is actively engaged across a diversified portfolio of investments.
Luke previously founded and scaled ventures in both the technology and e-commerce sectors, gaining first-hand insight into building, launching, and managing businesses from the ground up.
With a background in accounting and finance, underpinned by his qualification as a Chartered Accountant, Luke combines technical knowledge with entrepreneurial experience which will provide valuable insights for Dragonfly’s Investment Advisory Panel.
